| I went the crossbow route last year and decided on an Excalibur. It is a recurve style crossbow which makes it a bit bigger than most crossbows, but it keeps things simple as well. Very easy to change a worn string, lots of speed (350fps) and power, and very accurate. The Excaliburs seem a little expensive if you are pricing them in Cabel's but when you compare everything you are getting with the package, it is in line with the others. I have friends that have Parkers, Hortons, and Dartons and all are good. I have heard some negative comments on Barnetts. | |
